What cookies are and how they work

Cookies consist of small text files. The text files contain data stored on the visitor’s computer. From time to time, the website requests data from the cookies the visitor has stored on their computer. Websites use cookies i.a. in order to store settings for how the website should be displayed to the visitor. Another common use of cookies is as part of collecting information about visitors’ behavior.

Logistic Contractor’s use of cookies

Logistic Contractor uses cookies to give visitors access to various functions on the website and to monitor visitor traffic and with the help of collected visitor data be able to improve the website. Logistic Contractor uses two types of cookies. One type is a permanent cookie that saves a file for a long time on the visitor’s computer. It is used i.a. for features that tell you what’s new since the user last visited the current site. The second type of cookie is called session cookies, and these are valid only during the visit to the website, for example to keep track of whether the visitor is logged in.

Logistic Contractor also uses so-called third-party cookies for, among other things, analysis of traffic patterns with the help of third parties. We use collected statistics to learn how the website is used and how it can be continuously improved.

It is of course possible to use our website without allowing us to store cookies. Then the experience will not be as personal and fantastic as it is meant to be.

Is information transferred to a third party?

We use the following trackers to track and analyze cookies:

The information in these cookies, including the IP address, is transferred to Google only so that they can perform Logistic Contractor services linked to the website. Logistic Contractor does not have direct access to this IP number. Google does not transfer the information to any third party, except in cases where this is required by law or when the third party processes the information on behalf of Google. Visitors’ consent
